The popular building-block game - Minecraft will be banned in Turkey. Turkey's Family and Social Policies Ministry plans to ban Minecraft for it incites children to abuse animals. Player in Turkey want to play Minecraft can resort to VPN service. Hide your real IP, and show an IP of another region, USA, UK, Sweden etc to get access to this game.

Turkey wants to ban Minecraft as it it promotes violence against animals. Minecraft is a sandbox independent video game originally created by Swedish programmer Markus "Notch" Persson and later developed and published by the Swedish company Mojang. An investigation is done in Turkey to conclude that the game is based on violence, requiring you to kill other creatures in order to prevent the destruction of the created structures. Taking into consideration the age and developmental characteristics of the children who play this game, Turkey wants to ban Minecraft.

Similarly, there are more violent games compared to Minecraft like Battlefield Hardline, Call of Duty, Resident Evil and Far Cry. If the Turkey government make the final decision to ban Minecraft, there will be more games even websites, movies and other sources banned in the future. Fortunately, VPN connection can unblock this kind of restriction.
