The new bill allows intelligence agencies to tap phones and emails without seeking permission from a judge. The authorities will be able to keep recordings for a month and metadata for five years. One of the most controversial part of this law is the so-called black boxes. French Internet service providers and hosting companies will have to install a new system in their infrastructure to filter all traffic. Demonstrators hold placards reading "Stop to Mass Surveillance", and "Members of Parliament Protect our Freedom", during a gathering in Paris, to protest against the emergency government surveillance law.
From government censorship to corporate firewalls, hackers to ISPs your online freedom is constantly threatened. VPN access protects your online freedom because it fakes with an anonymous IP address. Encryption keeps your online identity and data safe from the prying eyes of ISPs, cyber criminals and anyone else who poses a threat to your Internet freedom. Besides, a VPN software revokes any geo-restrictions applied. So you can surf the web unrestricted and access everything including the streaming sites blocked.
German justice minister Heiko Maas also proposed all telecommunications service providers to retain user metadata for up to 10 weeks as a national security measure. Countries like China, Turkey, Iran and Vietnam pose a strong censorship on residents. Get a VPN to protect your online privacy now!
